"Thank you Brian, you made me walk again! Brian genuinely cares, he is a true professional and makes an investment in the health and well being of his patients. He helped me after I was hospitalized for four days due to chronic back pain I was not able to walk until I found Brian. He gave me great acupuncture and after the very first session, I was walking. Amazing!!! My health has clearly improved, my energy is better, and I can get around better than before. Thank you Brian and  your great staff."

Brian is the Founder and Director of the Bronx Community Wellness Center (BCWC).  His idea to create a holistic medicine clinic began after spending nine months treating patients as an acupuncture intern at the Montefiore Medical Group clinics in the Bronx.  What originally began as a scientific study on the efficacy of acupuncture on musculoskeletal disorders, led to the conception of BCWC after the study was concluded in August, 2011.  The study’s great success opened the doors and sparked the pursuit for establishing this wellness center; to provide acupuncture, massage, herbal medicine, nutritional guidance, and health education to the residents of the Bronx.

Brian received his Masters of Science in Acupuncture after an intensive four-year program at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, one of the nation’s leading schools for acupuncture, massage, Chinese herbal medicine, and integrative medicine. Although his extensive training has prepared him to treat all the ailments that acupuncture is effective for, he focuses on the treatment of pain, particularly due to sports and dance injuries, as well as those stemming from emotional roots.  Additionally, he has an extensive patient following for his success in treating digestive and gynecological disorders and infertility.  Lastly, Brian is also certified in Facial Revitalization Acupuncture, a non-surgical method of reducing the signs of the aging process.

Having a Masters in Education, Brian also has a passion for learning and teaching. As a teacher, his immediate goal is to educate his patients about the interconnection of the body and mind, and the importance of a well-balanced lifestyle.  Accordingly, he is an independent health coach for the highly successful weight loss programs Take Shape for Life and Team Beach Body.  With these tools, he has been able to change many people’s lives by helping them find optimal health following an effective weight-loss regimen, nutritional coaching, and cardiovascular fitness.

As a life-time student, his next goal is the Sports Medicine Acupuncture Certification Program, the most advanced certification program in the field of Sports Medicine Acupuncture and a Masters in Herbal medicine to supplement his Oriental Medicine repertoire.
