Robert Martinez holds a degree in Anthropology from the City College of New York, and also worked as an editor for several years. His wide ranging interest in cultures and people led him to an interest in Eastern philosophy, the study of Taijiquan, and other Chinese internal martial arts. This in turn led him to the study of Chinese medicine.
He graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2008, is a diplomate of acupuncture of the NCCAOM, and has licenses to practice in both New York and New Jersey. He has treated a wide range of patients, including the chemically addicted at both St. Ann's Corner of Harm Reduction and the Washington Heights Corner Project, as well as IVF/Infertility patients for Yin and Tonic in New York City.
